DMB RF REPEATER FOR 2.6GHz WIDE BAND SATELLITE FOR SATELLITE SERVICE OF FADE AREA

PURPOSE: A DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) RF(Radio Frequency) repeater for a 2.6GHz wide band satellite is provided to directly receive satellite signals for directly amplifying and re-projecting the signals in a fade area out of satellite service, thereby realizing the satellite service in every place. CONSTITUTION: A DMB RF repeater for a 2.6GHz wide band satellite includes a cassegrain antenna for receiving satellite DMB signals of 2.6GHz, and an input filter part for filtering unnecessary signals from the received DMB signals. A low-noise amplification part amplifies the filtered signals. A down-conversion part carries out down-conversion for frequency of the amplified signal. A signal processing part removes oscillating factors from the down-converted signals, and an up-conversion part carries out up-conversion for the frequency of the signals. A power amplification part amplifies power of the up-converted signals. An output filter part filters unnecessary signals from the amplified signals. A service antenna projects the filtered signals into fade areas.
