PURPOSE: A method for compensating for a wrong operation of a display driver and a mobile communication terminal for realizing the compensating method are provided to compensate for an abnormal operation of a display driver caused by various external elements within the shortest time, thereby normally operating the display driver without a resetting operation. CONSTITUTION: If power is applied to a controller of a terminal, the controller initializes a system(S41). The controller outputs screen display information and a driving control signal(S42). The controller checks a driving time of a display driver at certain intervals, and outputs a reset signal to the display driver if the driving time elapses at certain time(S43,S44). The controller confirms whether a power-off signal is inputted(S45). If so, the controller completes the procedure.
