PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive radiation-detecting device capable of eliminating a defect caused by a pinhole in a light reflecting layer when obtaining an X-ray transmission image, without getting deficient in light reflection in the light reflecting layer. SOLUTION: The present invention provides the inexpensive radiation-detecting device with no defect capable of forming the protecting layer 7 provided with a light reflecting function and a moisture-proof function, in a form of one layer and of embedding it between columns of a columnar crystal of a phosphor, by forming the protecting layer 7 comprising a resin containing light reflecting fine particles on a phosphor layer.
