PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the turning, attaching and detaching operations of a grass collection vessel of a grass collecting apparatus of a mower to charge and recover the mowed grass transported from a mower attached to a traveling body into the grass collection vessel placed at the rear part of the body. SOLUTION: A grass collection vessel 8 is attached in a vertically rotatable and backwardly detachable manner to a lateral rotation supporting point (p) placed at a side of a stationary supporting frame 14, a driving member 25 driven in normal and reverse directions by an actuator 26 is placed at a side of the supporting frame 14 and an engaging member 27 engaging with the driving member 25 is attached to the grass collection vessel 8. The grass collection vessel 8 is vertically rotatable around the lateral rotation supporting point (p) according to the motion of the driving member 25. The grass collection vessel 8 can be released from the lateral rotation supporting point (p) and the driving member 25 when the driving member 25 takes a prescribed working posture.
