PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear guide unit capable of constituting a supply system for lubricant in a slider inexpensively in a compact manner to make maintenance-free in supply of lubricant. SOLUTION: An oil tank 7 storing lubricant and made of a porous member and an inductive member 39 having a simple structure for supplying lubricant to a pipe member 30 from the oil tank 7 are arranged in the slider 2 to supply lubricant to the pipe member 30 forming a return passage 22 through the inductive member 39 from the oil tank 7. The oil tank 7 is constituted by a case 27 and a holding member 28 in it to store sufficient amount of lubricant without causing leakage. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
