The invention relates to a measuring arrangement comprising a sensor (2) which is sensitive to magnetic fields and has a body (10) which is provided with a continuous recess (12) and a wall (26) defining said recess and consists of a magnetic material, and at least one electrical conductor (5) extending between two ends and guided through the recess (12); a magnet (22) that can be moved in relation to the body (10) and has a magnetic field which enables the permeability of the body (10) to vary according to the distance between the body (10) and the magnet (22); and an evaluation device (4) that can be connected or is connected to the conductor (5) and by which means the variation in the permeability of the body (10) can be detected. The conductor (5) does not surround the wall (26).
