PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation device which is mainly used for operation of an air-conditioner and audio units or the like and in which a stable holding load of an operating body can be acquired and of which the manufacturing is easy. SOLUTION: A spring member 15 of an approximate U-shape is mounted around a hollow cylindrical portion 14A of the operation body 14, and arm portions 15A extending from both ends of the spring member 15 are inserted into a through-hole portion 14B of the hollow cylindrical portion 14A and are elastically contacted with a groove portion 13B of a circumference of an operation shaft 13, and as a result, the operation body 14 can be held surely by a predetermined force with a gap A around the operation shaft 13 and an re-assembling is easy as well.
