PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL device, the organic EL device and electronic equipment, capable of providing a sufficient light emitting characteristic and the light emitting service life, and capable of restraining generation of a non-light emitting area. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent device having a plurality of first electrodes, a light emitting function layer arranged in response to a forming position of the first electrode, and a second electrode for covering the light emitting function layer on a base board 20, includes a shock absorbing layer forming process of covering the second electrode and forming a shock absorbing layer 210, and a process of forming a gas barrier layer 30 covering the shock absorbing layer 210, and is characterized in that the shock absorbing layer forming process includes an applying process of applying an applying material having a monomer/oligomer material and a hardening agent without using a solvent in a vacuum atmosphere, and a thermosetting process of forming the shock absorbing layer by hardening the applying material.
