PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable intake device capable of easily incorporating a switching valve into an intake passage structure and capable of smoothly operating the switching valve without affected by strain of the intake passage structure. SOLUTION: In the variable intake device, a switching valve for switching an intake passage of the intake passage structure is provided and an actuator connected with an end part of a valve stem 33 of the switching valve is fixed with a side wall of a center structure part 21 of the intake passage structure, another end part 33a of the valve stem 33 is rotatably supported by a bearing member 61 in the intake passage structure. The intake passage structure is separated into a plurality of structures by a plane at least passing through the bearing member 61 and is composed of these separated structures which are welded and adhered with each other and is kept in a state that the bearing member 61 is sandwiched between a main structure part 7 of the adhered structures and the center structure part 21.
