A membrane electrode assembly for electrochemically generating ozone is provided to drastically reduce the operating cost and improve durability by using a platinum-tantalum catalyst as an electrode catalyst layer, thereby improving electrolysis efficiency and stabilizing reaction efficiency. A membrane electrode assembly for electrochemically generating ozone includes an anode electrode catalyst layer and a cathode electrode catalyst layer which form electrodes on both surfaces of an electrolyte membrane. The anode electrode catalyst layer is formed of a tantalum-platinum electrode catalyst layer.
