A method and a device for maintaining vacuum in a die casting mold are provided to control the entire internal porosity of an aluminum alloy to less than 1% by improving a gate and a runner in the mold and improving shape of an overflow corresponding to a non-molding part generated due to an increase in an inner porosity. A method for maintaining vacuum in a die casting mold comprises applying a diffusion pump with a vacuum degree of 10^-4 or more to a vacuum unit communicating with a gas exhaust pipeline of a center block mold for a hydraulic unit. In a die casting mold for manufacturing a center block(10) for a hydraulic unit, a device for maintaining vacuum in the die casting mold is characterized in that a gas exhaust pipeline(12) and a gas exhaust pipeline(14) of the mold maintain an angle of 180 degrees, and a gas exhaust flow path(16) communicating with a vacuum unit outside the mold and a gas exhaust pipeline(18) maintain an angle of 80 degrees.
