The method involves introducing a thermoplastic material preform in a mold, and introducing gas issued from hydrocarbon in the preform at pressure higher than atmospheric pressure, where mixture of the gas is explosive. The gas mixture is ignited, where the gas comprises oxygen, hydrogen, carbon monoxide and acetylene, and the preform is kept open to free air during igniting the gas mixture. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a container (2) a unit for treating of a thermoplastic material preform.
