The method involves determining dew point temperature of gaseous fluid, and adjusting operating temperature of an industrial plant above the determined dew point temperature. Corrosion rate of distillation product is measured, and better neutralizing inhibiting species e.g. amines, of corrosion are determined at different rate for reducing the corrosion rate. The better neutralizing inhibiting species of the corrosion is injected to concentration and adapted rate for reducing the corrosion rate.
