Disclosed is a method for producing a nonaqueous secondary battery which enables to produce a nonaqueous secondary battery while suppressing formation of an oxide coating on the surface of a negative electrode layer. Specifically disclosed is method for producing a nonaqueous secondary battery, which is characterized by comprising a negative electrode layer-forming step wherein a negative electrode layer composed of a metal thin film is formed on a negative electrode collector, an oxide coating removal step wherein an oxide coating on the surface of the negative electrode layer is removed, a drying step wherein the negative electrode layer from which the oxide coating is removed is dried in an inert gas atmosphere, a cooling step wherein the dried negative electrode layer is cooled in an inert gas atmosphere, a conveying step wherein the cooled negative electrode layer is conveyed to an assembly work area, and an assembling step wherein a nonaqueous secondary battery is assembled in an inert gas atmosphere by using the negative electrode layer conveyed to the assembly work area. |
