PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray radiographic apparatus, capable of effectively suppressing temperature fluctuation of a radiographic image information detector during its operation while further rapidly raising the temperature thereof to a desired operation temperature at the time of activation to effectively reduce the activation time. SOLUTION: A mammography apparatus 10 as the X-ray radiographic apparatus includes a radiation detector 32 disposed within a photographic table 26. The radiation detector 32 comprises a solid-state radiation detector 38 which detects radiographic image information of a subject 18, a heat storage material 39 which increases the heat capacity of the detector 38 by contacting with the detector 38 in a heat-transferable state; and a heat storage material moving mechanism 40 which attaches or detaches the heat storage material 39 to and from the detector 38.
