PURPOSE: To treat water-contg. refuse sludge, etc., in succession by passing the water-contg. refuse sludge through a coarse-mesh screen and a fine-mesh screen in this order to recover the waste water and treating the waste water with a filter press into clear water to recover the clear water. CONSTITUTION: The water-contg. refuse sludge, etc., on a cleaning car 2 is thrown into a hopper 6, and the water and refuse sludge passed through the screen constituting a bottom plate 13 are separated and dropped. The refuse sludge left on the bottom plate 13 is transported to a disposal plant. The water- contg. refuse sludge passed through the bottom plate 13 flows into a first pit 17 by gravity and is separated by a fine-mesh screen 18 into waste water and the oversize refuse. The oversize refuse sludge left on the screen 18 is recovered in the cleaning car, and the waste water flows into a second pit 19 by gravity. The waste water is introduced into a filter press 22 from the second pit 19 by a slurry pump 26 and filtered into almost clear water, which is used as the water except drinking water. |
