<p>NEW MATERIAL:An azaspiro compound expressed by formula I (R1-R3 are H or hydrocarbon residue which may have substituent group and further R1 and R2 are acyl; X1, X2 and Y or O or S and further Y is NR4; R4 is H or lower alkyl; m and n are 0 or 1) and salt thereof. EXAMPLE:2-Methoxy-8-methyl-2,8-diazaspiro[4,5]decane-1,3-dione.hydroch loride. USE:A cerebral function improving medicine useful in prevention or remedy for senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's chorea, hyperkinesis, mania, etc., and acting to central nerve system, especially acetylcholine receptor. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula II [R1' is R1 or R1 protected with a protecting group when R1 has a functional group such as OH; Z is eliminating group] is condensed with a compound expressed by formula III [R2' is R2 or R2 protected with a protecting group when R2 has a functional group such as OH] and then the resultant product is subjected to ring closure and as necessary R1', R2' or protecting group contained therein is eliminated to provide the compound expressed by formula I (m is 0).</p> |
