PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a transparent conductive film, which satisfies the following conditions: 1. a transparent conductive film can be formed on a surface of a transparent substrate at an inexpensive production cost; 2. there are no restrictions on the materials of a transparent conductive material and the transparent substrate; 3. there is no restriction on the size of the transparent substrate, and electrodes can be formed directly on the surface of the transparent substrate; and 4. the transparent substrate having the transparent conductive film can be connected to other substrates and components.SOLUTION: A metal compound which precipitates a metal by thermal decomposition is dispersed in an alcohol, this dispersion is mixed with an organic compound having higher viscosity than the alcohol, and further aggregates of transparent conductive fine particles are mixed to prepare a suspension. This suspension is coated or printed on a surface of a transparent substrate, and the transparent substrate is heat-treated to decompose the metal compound. Thereby, a transparent conductive film comprising aggregates of the transparent conductive fine particles bound by metallic fine particles is produced integrally with the transparent substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
