FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: airship has envelope 1 consisting of several layers of inflatable longitudinal pneumatic beams 2, 3 and 4. Chambers of pneumatic beams 2, 3 and 4 are connected with inner chamber of envelope 1 by means of pneumatic drives through filling-emptying system. In pumping carrier gas from inner chamber of envelope 1 to pneumatic beams 2, 3 and 4, they get inflated reducing the perimeter of envelope 1 and consequently its volume. Reduced volume of carrier gas in envelope reduces aerostatic lift. Layer-by-layer distribution of carrier gas makes it possible to pump considerable volume of this gas in pneumatic beams 2, 3 and 4 without exceeding ultimate strength of conventional materials, thus extending range of adjustment of aerostatic lift. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of airship due to wide range of adjustment of aerostatic lift. 1 dwg |
