PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of obtaining excellent toner cleanability and suppressing the occurrence of image blur caused by filming and the occurrence of image deletion under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor having a protective layer made of a curable resin as a surface layer and is configured by sequentially arranging lubricant supply means for supplying a lubricant to the surface of the photoreceptor, electrifying means for electrifying the surface of the photoreceptor by an electrifying roller, exposure means for exposing the photoreceptor electrified by the electrifying means, developing means for supplying toner to the photoreceptor exposed by the exposure means, to form a toner image, transfer means for transferring the toner image formed on the photoreceptor, cleaning means for removing the toner remaining on the surface of the photoreceptor, and lubricant removing means for removing the lubricant on the surface of the photoreceptor along the rotational direction of the photoreceptor in the outer peripheral surface area of the rotating photoreceptor.
