Apparatus for cutting glass sheet comprises conveyer means to move in a given path a glass having a leading edge, a carriage above the conveyer means to move from a home position along the glass sheet, a glass scoring-tool mounted on the carriage for movement thereacross to score the glass sheet transversely, the conveyer means comprising at least two pulleys positioned to provide a horizontal top run for the belt and an adjacent conveyer to receive the glass sheet from the belt conveyer, the pulley supporting the belt at the end of its top run adjacent the receiving conveyer being adapted to be raised upon actuation by sensing-means responsive to the movement of the carriage after the completion of the scoring. The apparatus disclosed is identical with that disclosed in the Specification 901,794. Specifications 900,983 and 901,795 also are referred to. |
