<p>1293214 Coated products GLANZSTOFF AG 26 Aug 1970 [17 Sept 1969] 41056/70 Heading B2E [Also in Division D1] A load-bearing means such as a belt, cable, line or net made of polyamide material is treated, usually by immersion, with a copolymer of butadiene, acrylonitrile, styrene and methacrylic acid to fill in the cavities and coat the surface thereof, the proportion of copolymer based on the polyamide material being 15-30% by weight, to render the means abrasion resistant. The means may be a belt composed of five layers of woven polyamide- 66 which is immersed in an aqueous dispersion of the copolymer. A pigment such as Helio R may be added to the dispersion.</p> |
