The apparatus for spinning totally aromatic polyamide fiber is composed of (A) a spinning pack(1) with porous plates(13,15) and a nozzle(14), (B) a body(16) around the outer peripheral side of the pack(1), (C) a nitrogen flow passage(30) established according to the peripheral side of the body(16) having input holes at both sides and a porous plate(24) at lower part, (D) a spinning tube(21) established at lower part to one body with the pack(1), the body(16) and the nitrogen flow passage(30). In this equipment, a cooling jacket(19), in which cooling oil flows, is established between the spinning pack(1) and the body(16); in the lower part of it, the input hole(22), which is outer side of the spinning tube(21) connects to the input tube(20); and in the upper part of it, a pcck housing(17) having a output tube(18) is established.
