<p>A pressure reducing station for natural gas pipelines has several branch lines, each with its own pressure reducing valve, gas meter and flow controller. The branch lines are cut in and out by signals from the flow controllers; an excessive rise of flow rate in one cause its own pressure reducing valve to decrease its opening and increase that of the subsequent branch line.</p> |
