REVERSIBLE THERMAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium difficult in the forgery of the medium and a transfer material themselves and capable of simply judging genuineness. CONSTITUTION: A reversible thermal recording medium is obtained by laminating a metal reflecting layer 3, a photothermal conversion layer 4, a rewritable thermal recording layer 5 and a hologram layer 8 having a hologram image on a base material 2 and visible data is written under the hologram layer 8 by applying a non-contact printing means such as laser beam to the upper surface of the hologram layer 8 to record rewritable visible data without exerting effect on the hologram image. Both of the hologram image and the rewritable visible data can be confirmed in a superposed state.
