PURPOSE: To enhance sealing properties of a ball tip writing part by a method wherein when a Writing body is contained in a writing utensil body, the ball tip writing part is contact sealed by a closing operation of a sealing cover after the writing body abuts against a fastening part. CONSTITUTION: In the state that a tip writing part 7 of a writing body 3 is stored in a writing utensil body 2, a pushing slide member 4 and the writing utensil body 2 are positioned in a retracted position by a pressing force of first and second springs 11, 14. The tip writing part 7 of the writing body 3 is positioned at approximately an opening of a sealing cylinder 15. A sealing cover 16 is dosed by being pulled by a string member 18 to cover an inner hole of the sealing cylinder 15 as well as seal the tip of the writing part 7 in a pressure contact state. Therefore, the writing part 7 is sealed to be prevented from drying by evaporation of ink, and nonexistence of a gap around the writing part 7 can prevent leakage of ink. |
