PURPOSE: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. capable of sintering especially at a low temp. of <=1,050 deg.C, excellent in temp. characteristics of capacitance and having a high relative dielectric constant by adding a specified amt. of Mn to a principal compsn. consisting of four kinds of specified Pb-contg. perovskite compds. CONSTITUTION: A principal compsn. consisting essentially of four kinds of Pb- contg. perovskite compds., that is, lead magnesium tungstate [Pb(Mg1/2 W1/2 )O3 : PMW], lead titanate (PbTiO3 : PT), lead zirconate (PbZrO3 : PZ) and lead zinc niobate [Pb(Zn1/3 Nb2/3 )O3 : PbZnNb] in a ratio of x:y:z:u (x+y+z+u=1 and 0<u<=0.25) is prepd. so that the compsn. is on straight lines connecting four points A, B, C, D in the ternary diagram with (x), (y+u) and (z) as apexes or in the region defined by the four points and an Mn compd. is added to the principal compsn. by <=2mol% (expressed in terms of Mn). |
