<p>Cpds. of formula : and salts where is a morpholino, piperidino, pyrrolidino or hexamethyleneimino gp., have cardiovascular, analgesic and spasmolytic activity. In animals the spasmolytic activity is similar to that of papeverine. 50 mg/kg. orally has an analgesic effect in mice. 2 mg/kg. i.v. gives 25-40% protection to hypotensive haemorrhagic rats. 4 mu g/ml. gives a positive inotropic effect in the isolated guinea-pig heart. Prepd. by hydration of the corresponding 2-methyl-2-heptenes in aqs. H2SO4.</p> |
