PURPOSE: To redisplay edited data immediately through specific operation even if edited data which are present behind other overlapping edited data are destroyed by providing plural specific editing means, a managing means, and a display means. CONSTITUTION: The editing means output a 1st message including range coordinates indicating the range of the display area of object edited data when the object edited data are erased. The managing means decides the display area including the range coordinates and outputs a 2nd message for redisplaying the edited data in the display area. The display means on receiving the 2nd message displays the edited data corresponding to the display area included in the range coordinates. On a CRT screen in editing operation, a menu bar 100 for selecting an editing function, a switching menu 101, a new area generation menu 102, an area operation menu 103, an end menu 104, etc., are displayed. |
