<p>A box shaped satchel having a height greater than its width is formed from a thin, pref. synthetic (esp. polyamide) coated material and has stiffening sheets located internally againt the back wall and pref. the bottom and side walls. Shoulder straps of pref. adjustable length are attached to the back wall and to the stiffening sheet adjacent the back wall. The satchel is extremely light. Pref. the face of the back wall rests against the back and shoulders of the wearer is covered with a layer of plastic foam (pref. polyurethane) and pref. the straps are riveted to the back wall and stiffening sheets.</p> |
