<p>Triazolidino-pyridazine derivs. of formula (I) are new: In (I), n is 2, pref. 2 or 3; R1 is an n-valent organic residue; R2 is H or CH3; when n=2, R1 is divalent, opt. branched or cyclic 1-36 (1-6)C, alkylene (which is opt. substd. esp. by 1-4C hydroxy-, alkoxy- or alkylthio-alkyl or by halo), or a divalent up to 36, esp. up to 12C, aromatic, araliphatic or heterocyclic gp., opt. substd. esp. by 1-4C alkyl (itself opt. substd. by OH, halo, alkoxy or alkylthio), NO2, CN or halo; when n = 3, R1 is a trivalent, opt. branched or cyclic 3-36 (3-9)C aliphatic gp.; or cm up to 36, esp. up to 12C, aromatic, araliphatic or heterocyclic which can be substd. as above; or is a 1,3,5-triazinyl gp. (I) have fungicidal and bactericidal activities and are useful in plant-protection, and for protecting glues, cutting oils, paper, textiles. Esp. they are useful as paint fungicides because of their sparingly solubility and have a long-term effect. The melamine deriv. is esp. useful in paints.</p> |
