PURPOSE:To give a ferromagnetism to a carbide by a method wherein an organic material is mixed with a porous material, the mixture is subjected to heat treatment at a specified temperature under the existence of halogens or a halogen generator and the carbide containing 100% of carbon quality is made to produce. CONSTITUTION:An ungraphitized carbide is made of a mixture of an organic material and a porous inorganic oxide powder or a mixture of an organic material and a porous inorganic oxide powder is the existence of halogens or a halogen generator to obtain an ungra-phitized carbide containing 100% of carbon quality. Thereby, a product in a form that the carbide to show a ferromagnetism is adhered on the porous material is obtained. Moreover, in a state remaining intact, the carbide can be used as a ferromagnetic material and a ferromagnetic carbon material can be easily manufactured using various organic materials as a raw material. |
