PURPOSE:To attempt improvements of chemical-agent-resistance, head-matching property and water-resistance in a damp condition, by covering over a heat- sensitive color-developing layer a protecting layer of a special resin mixture. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensitive color-developing layer containing Leuco dye and color-developing agent is installed over a supporting body and on the surface of heat-sensitive color-developing layer, a protecting layer formed by a mixed resin composed of polyvinyl-alkohol/acrylic acid amide or methaacrylic acid amide/acrylonitrile or metha-acrylonitrile copolymer contained in polyvinyl- alcohol or its carboxylic-group-denatured polyvinyl-alcohol of saponification coefficient of more than 99%. By using the special protecting layer formed by this kind of a special resin mixture, head-matching property, water-resistance and chemical agent resistance are improved and especially, the chemical agent resistance in a damp condition is improved pronouncedly; this material is used widely in various applications as the heat-sensitive recording material and especially, in heat-sensitive roll of magnetic paper and label paper at great profit. |
