PURPOSE:To bring always a roll piece into contact with a blank material under a sufficient contact pressure for preventing forming defect by using one of a pair of roll pieces as a fixed roll piece and the other piece as a displaceable roll piece and pressing the latter against the fixed roll side. CONSTITUTION:A tapered pressing face 25 is projected by a hydraulic cylinder 23 to push a roll 22 downward. Then the free end-part of a supporting arm 17 is pulled downward through a pressing rod 21 and a connecting link 18. Thus a pressing force is given to a displaceable roll piece 28 through a holding groove 27 and a shaft 29. Accordingly, a plate-shaped blank material 30 comes into contact with a fixed roll piece 13 and the displaceable roll piece 28 under a sufficient pressing force, and the material 30 is roll formed in conformity with the shape of roll piece even if the material 30 has a few variation in its thickness.
