PURPOSE:To make an ozone eliminating member small-sized and reduce the ozone concentration of air discharged to the outside of a device by applying an ozone adsorbent, which eliminates ozone generated from a corona discharger, to an exhaust fan. CONSTITUTION:Since an ozone adsorbent 10 is applied to blade members 12 of an exhaust sirocco fan 11, the temperature of the ozone adsorbent 10 is raised by heat of air whose temperature is raised by operations of individual parts in a machine. By this rise of temperature, the ozone adsorption efficiency of the ozone adsorbent 10 is increased. Meanwhile, ozone is generated from a corona discharge 2 for electrostatic charge, a corona discharger 3 for transfer, and a corona discharger 4 for destaticizing when they are operated. Air including this ozone is sucked by the exhaust sirocco fan 11 and is brought into contact with the ozone adsorbent 10 whose ozone adsorption efficiency is increased. Since blade members 12 of the exhaust sirocco fan 11 are rotated in a high speed, air including ozone generated from dischargers is brought efficiently into contact with the ozone adsorbent 10 applied onto blade members 12, and this air is discharged as W3 to the outside of the device after ozone is eliminated. |
