摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet printer capable of forming stable ink droplets and also of securing highly reliable parting quality by controlling ink to high-temperature side when the temperature of ink is low by a method in which when the output of a sensor to detect the temperature of a ceramic part is below a reference temperature, a heating element is electrically energized to heat ink. CONSTITUTION:A heater part 8 and a temperature sensor 9 body are closely contacted with a cylindrical ceramic part 7 on the holder. The heater 8 is metallized with a metal heating resistor, and therefore, has good heat conductivity and can be controlled with quick respondence. By using the heater 8 of facial pattern, designing of the heater part 8 having high watt density/unit of area is possible. When the control temperature is set to 25 deg.C for example, the output voltage of an arithmetic amplifier at 25 deg.C is set up to Vref. When the temperature of head is below 25 deg.C, the output voltage of the amplifier 12 becomes high levels, a transistor Tr1 goes OFF, a transistor Tr2 turns ON, and electric current flows in the heater part 8 to control the temperature to 25 deg.C.
