PURPOSE:To insert most densely a fiber strand bundle into a jacket tube without disordering the arrangement of the strands by packing the fiber strand bundle pushed into an extended tube for insertion by a specially designed piston-shaped pushing implement in the jacket tube. CONSTITUTION:The fiber strand bundle 1 bundled densely and parallel to the diameter larger than the inside diameter of the horizontally disposed jacket tube 2 and smaller than the diameter of the extended tube 3 for insertion fitted coaxially onto the open end of the tube 2 is inserted into the tube 3.
