PURPOSE:To control a motor by a small current by providing brush moving means to continue and interrupt the current of the motor only between the brush and a commutator. CONSTITUTION:A brush 5 moves radially of a commutator 4 with respect to the commutator 4 by a solenoid 7. When the solenoid 7 is not energized, the movable element 7a of the solenoid 7 is returned by a spring 9 in a direction that the brush 5 contacts the commutator 4, and the brushes 5, 6 are together contacted with the commutator 4 in this state. When the brushes 5, 6 are connected with a power source, a motor starts. On the other hand, when the solenoid 7 is energized, the element 7a is attracted into the body of the solenoid 7, and the brush 5 is thus moved to separate from the commutator 4. The brush 5 and the commutator 4 become noncontact in this state to stop supplying power to an armature 3, thereby stopping the motor. |
