PURPOSE:To reduce the unbalancing amount of a voice coil motor (VCM) characteristics of the center and both ends by regulating the number of turns of the coil of the VCM at the center to reduce from that at the both ends. CONSTITUTION:The coil 9' of a VCM is lap wound in three layers in a square shape, densely wound at both ends of the uppermost layer, and skip wound at the center to balance the VCM characteristics at the outer periphery, the center and the inner periphery of a disk of a magnetic head. Thus, the VCM characteristic represented by the product of the intensity of the magnetic field by a magnet 10 and the length of the coil 9' can be equalized between the both ends of the coil and the center of the coil. |
