PURPOSE: To obtain part data with little error by a small number of processes by displaying the image of a part whose part data is to be prepared, specifying a dimensional measurement position of the part on the screen, calculating the distances between dimensional measurement positions and storing a calculated size as part data. CONSTITUTION: The image of an electronic part is displayed in an image display part 7. A measurement position instruction point 10a is made to coincide by key operation of an operation board 1. Then, another measurement position instruction point 10b is moved and a measurement position instruction point 10b is made to coincide with another part end of a portion to be measured on an image. The length on an image between instruction point 10a, 10b on a part image 9 is calculated. The size of an actual electronic part 8 is calculated by proportionally calculating contraction scale ratio and a length on an image between the instruction points 10a, 10b. Then, the calculated part size is stored in a part data library as part data. |
