The invention provides a leg exerciser which comprises a pair of pedals 12, 14 mounted for rocking movement about a common axis (16). A drive transmission involving an electric motor and cranks and connecting rods effects the rocking movement of the pedals. The user whilst sitting on a chair places his feet on the respective pedal and the driving of same effects exercise of the calf muscles and improves blood circulation. <IMAGE>
