With the type of valve under consideration, there is the problem of achieving relatively low resistance to axial throughflow and a relatively small overall volume.
<??>To solve this problem, an annular piston (8) and a check valve piston (5) coaxial with the latter are provided in the valve. An end face (11) of the first piston, said face facing the latter piston, is arranged so as to lie in the low-pressure space. The said end face is designed such that it divides the opposing end face of the check valve piston into an annular surface (12) subject to the low pressure and a circular surface (13) subject to the high pressure. The opposite end face (10) of the annular piston lies in the high-pressure space.
