PURPOSE:To simplify structure and give compatibility to an optical transmission equipment by juxtaposing a light emitting element and a light receiving element and connecting them to an optical fiber through an optical system. CONSTITUTION:An input electric signal Sia of an optical transmission equipment 20-1 is stored in a memory 30-1 controlled in time division by a control circuit 32-1 and is read out and is given to a light emitting element driving circuit 33-1. The circuit 33-1 drives a light emitting element 35-1 to output a transmission optical signal Oa. This signal Oa is sent to an optical fiber 21 and is made incident on a light receiving element 36-2 of an optical transmission equipment 20-2. The signal Oa is converted to an electric signal by the element 35-2 and is stored in a memory 31-2 controlled in time division by a control circuit 32-2 and is read out and is outputted as an output electric signal Sob. An input electric signal Sib of the equipment 20-2 is stored in a memory 30-2 controlled in time division by the control circuit 20-2, then is stored in a memory 31-1 controlled in time division by the circuit 32-1 of the equipment 20-1. |
