PURPOSE:To perform diagnosis even if a board as the trouble diagnosis object has some trouble, by connecting a normally operatable board to a common bus of an actual operating system and simultaneously connecting the board as the trouble diagnosis object set to a test system to the common bus through an address converting part. CONSTITUTION:A diagnostic program 3-1 sends the address of an address area, which is different from the address sent to a pertinent normally operating board A16 in an actual operating system 1, to a board A211 as the trouble diagnosis object. Then, this sent address is converted to the same address as the board A16 by an address converting part 4 and is sent to a common bus 10, and the accessed board A211 controls a dummy I/O card 12. This controlled signal is reported to a CPU board 5 through the common bus 10 and a common bus 9, and the trouble diagnostic program 3-1 performs the trouble diagnosis. Thus, even if the board A211 as the trouble diagnosis object has a trouble, the trouble diagnostic program 3-1 is stored in a memory 3 to perform the trouble diagnosis without being affected by this trouble. |
