SKIN EXTERNAL PREPARATION CONTAINING LUFFE CYLINDRICA ESSENCE FOR PERIPHERAL PART OF ANUS

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled skin external preparation not only having cleaning action but also preventing chapping and sore of skin and mucosa and having excellent remedying effects on wound and damage of skin, containing a substance extracted from Luffe cylindrica. CONSTITUTION:A skin external preparation containing 0.005-0.5wt.% saponin substance of Luffe cylindrica selected from ginsenosides shown by formula I (R is glucose or glucose rhamnose) and luciosides shown by formula II (R1 is CH3, CH2OH or CHO; R2 is H or beta-D-glucopyranoside; R3 and R4 are H or OH) which are extracted and isolated from Luffe cylindrica. The external preparation is useful for preventing and treating ordinary troubles of skin and mucosa as well as for application to peripheral parts of the anus.
