REINFORCING COMPONENT FOR FIBER REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To eliminate variabilities in local strength and dimension accuracy and manufacture a stabilized product by disposing high-strength fibers in the direction of spurs in the condition of disposing a belt in a given form. CONSTITUTION:A belt 7 is a textile constituted at least of high-strength fibers for warp yarns. The belt 7 has narrow and thick narrow-width sections 9 at both ends, and tapered sections 10 of width and thickness varying continuously are formed from the wide width section 8 through the narrow width sections 9. The narrow width sections 9 of both ends of the belt 7 are butted and disposed with the opposite faces of narrow width sections 9 of the adjacent belt 7 to form continuous plate-shaped upper and lower faces. At the edges of both faces of upper and lower faces, the crook sections and flex sections of spurs 2 are formed by varying the position of the belt 7 gradually. Further, the front and rear edges of spurs 2 are formed by butting and disposing the upper and lower faces of the narrow width sections 9 of the belt 7. By said arrangement, a cylindrical reinforcing component of desired form can be formed.
