PURPOSE: To stabilize liquid flow in a drain flow passage while downsizing the whole by shortening the length of the axial direction of a liquid pump and the size of a diameter direction. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a cartridge 5 which is arranged in a pump casing 1 and for discharging liquid intaked from an intake hole 13 toward a discharging hole 14, and a pressure chamber 10 which is formed between a cover 11 and the cartridge 5 and be communicated with the discharging hole 14. This device is also provided with a flow amount control valve 16 for refluxing a part of discharging liquid to the intake hole 13 by opening/ closing a drain flow passage 22 by a spool 19 housed in a spool chamber 17 for communicating the pressure chamber 10 and the discharging hole 13 with each other. The spool chamber 17 is arranged in parallel with a pump shaft 3 on the inner part diameter direction of the pump casing 1, and also the drain flow passage 22 is formed of two independent flow passages extending from an upstream side to a downstream side. |
