<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a pinhole and to obtain a color filter with high display quality by forming a required pattern by a printing method and then executing defoaming processing. CONSTITUTION:After printing a required pattern on the surface of a transparent base by the printing method, the defoaming processing of the pattern obtained by printing is executed. For instance, a stripe-like red filter pattern 2 is printed on a glass base 1 with ultraviolet hardening type red ink by a screen printing method. Then, the substrate 1 is covered with a pressure reducing device 3 to reduce pressure and execute defoaming processing for 2min. Then, ultraviolet rays 4 are radiated from the upper part of the substrate 1 to harden the red filter pattern 2. Then, a green filter pattern 5 is formed by repeating printing, defoaming and hardening by means of green ink and a blue filter pattern 6 is then formed by repeating printing, defoaming and hardening by means of a blue ink. Consequently, a color filter having no pinhole and removed at its display quality can be inexpensively manufactured.</p> |
