PURPOSE: To obtain tasty coffee by a method wherein a water passing device is arrangedly communicating with a tank while being linked to a filter chamber and a check valve is provided separately before and after a heater in the course of the water passing device to reduce an energy loss of the heater. CONSTITUTION: Water introduced into a water passing pipe A14 is heated by a heater 17 and the boiled water generates a steam pressure. A pressure is applied to the boiled water in the water passing tube A14 to move it. A check valve A15 is moved upward under a pressure applied thereon to prevent the reversion of the boiled water into a tank 11. Therefore, the boiled water moves to a water passing pipe B21 through a check valve holder 20 including a tube B18 and a check valve B19 and rises through the water passing pipe B21 to drip from a delivery port 23. The boiled water dripping into a filter chamber 22 passes through coffee powder to extract coffee components and the resulting coffee solution drips into a coffee container 24. After the boiled water in the water passing pipe A14 ends its dripping at the delivery port 23, the steam pressure of the water passing pipe A14 decreases and water in the tank 11 pushes down the check valve A15 again to be guided to the water passing pipe A14. |
