<p>PURPOSE: To enhance heat resistance without deteriorating bending characteristics of a card by using a post-chlorinated vinyl chloride sheet in a part loaded with a module and using a hard vinyl chloride sheet on the rear surface side of the module. CONSTITUTION: The layer surrounding a module 1 is composed of a post- chlorinated vinyl chloride core sheet 5 and the core sheet used on the rear surface of the module 1 is composed of a hard vinyl chloride core sheet 4. The softening temp. of hard vinyl chloride is 60-65 deg.C but that of post-chlorinated vinyl chloride is 85 deg.C and, as a result, the heat resistance of a card is raised by about 20 deg.C. Now, with respect to heat resistance, it is effective that post- chlorinated vinyl chloride is also used as the core sheet used on the rear surface of the module 1 but, when the card is repeatedly bent, a crack is easily generated in the rear surface core sheet. Actually, the bending resistance of the card wholly composed of post-chlorinated vinyl chloride is 1,000-1,300 but that of the card wherein the core sheet on the rear surface of the module 1 is composed of hard vinyl chloride is 2,000-3,000 and the heat resistance of this card can be enhanced.</p> |
